Stagecoach uses the same Indio polo field as Coachella but feels like a different festival: earlier nights, more barbecue, more boots, and a slightly older crowd.

What makes it different
The music leans country and Americana, the barbecue is genuinely good, and gates open earlier. Nights end sooner, which makes the drive back civilised.
Where to stay
The same rules as Coachella: Indio and La Quinta are closest, Palm Springs is the most fun. Because it falls a week later, daytime heat is usually a few degrees higher.
Getting around
Shuttles run from the same hubs as Coachella. If you are driving, arrive before 2pm to avoid the worst of the queue.
