The weekend layout

The festival itself sets up downtown with stages, vendors, and food, and runs through the weekend. The Pride Parade is the Sunday-morning centerpiece, marching down Palm Canyon Drive with the mountains behind it — arrive early for a curb spot, because the route fills in. Between official events, the Arenas District bars run their own parties all weekend, and the gay resorts host pool events that are where a lot of the actual socializing happens.

Start with the part of the weekend you want to reach most easily. A central Downtown hotel can reduce cross-town trips, while a Warm Sands resort offers a different setting and guest policy. Verified 2026 parade route and start time

Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.: The Pride Parade is scheduled to step off at Tachevah Drive and North Palm Canyon Drive and travel south to Amado Road. The official Pride organizer and City of Palm Springs event calendar agree on the Sunday 10 a.m. start. The festival and parade are free; check any independently organized parties for separate ticketing.

Planning Friday through Sunday

Friday, November 6: The organizer lists an Arenas District block party in the evening. Check its current entertainment schedule if you are making dinner plans.

Saturday, November 7: The downtown festival marketplace and entertainment are scheduled throughout the day. Allow time to walk between Palm Canyon Drive and the Arenas District instead of planning a tight cross-town schedule.

Sunday, November 8: Arrive before the 10 a.m. parade start if you want a sidewalk viewing position along the route. The festival continues afterward, so you can still enjoy the marketplace after the parade.

The best hotel location for a Pride-first trip

A room inside the downtown core can cut down on rideshares when streets are closed, but it may have more evening noise. Check Pride-area hotels, then confirm walking routes and the exact hotel address. Warm Sands resorts serve a different trip style and are not automatically next to the parade route.
