These are three different experiences at two addresses, rather than three separate rooftop hotels. The floor matters at the Rowan: High Bar and 4 Saints are both on the seventh floor.

High Bar at Kimpton Rowan

High Bar sits beside the rooftop pool at 100 W Tahquitz Canyon Way. Choose it for an outdoor drink and mountain views in a poolside setting. The hotel's brand dining page lists bar hours of 10am–11pm; confirm the day's service with the hotel before heading up.

Ask specifically about bar seating for non-hotel guests. Pool use, cabanas and a daytime pool pass are separate arrangements. The hotel links to paid cabana reservations from its pool page; that does not mean every bar visitor receives swimming access.

4 Saints at Kimpton Rowan

4 Saints is the dinner-focused rooftop restaurant at the same hotel, with indoor dining and an outdoor patio. It shares the seventh-floor level with High Bar. A dinner reservation is the useful starting point when a meal matters as much as the view.

Published schedules differ between the hotel's restaurant page and the restaurant's own hours page. Check the current 4 Saints hours and confirm the service time with the restaurant. Request outdoor seating when booking if the patio is important; a reservation alone does not promise a particular table.

Azúcar at La Serena Villas

Azúcar, at 339 S Belardo Road, combines a restaurant with a rooftop lounge. The hotel explicitly welcomes the general public, so you can plan a meal or drink without booking a room.

The official Azúcar page lists brunch 7:30am–4pm daily, dinner 5–9pm Sunday–Thursday and 5–10pm Friday–Saturday. Its FAQ says the rooftop lounge participates in brunch and dinner service. Confirm rooftop seating for your intended time.

Book ahead for dinner. The page describes lounge seating as first come, first served while also recommending reservations for the rooftop; contact the restaurant to establish which seating your reservation covers.

Bar access, pool access and pets

Before going, ask about the exact experience you want: a drink, an outdoor dinner table, swimming or a cabana. Those can have different admission and reservation rules, especially during hotel events.

The Rowan's pet-friendly room policy does not extend to the rooftop: its published FAQ says pets are not allowed there. Check the restaurant directly for other party-specific access or seating needs.

A patio can be a useful backup when rooftop seating is unavailable:

• Reforma has a ground-level patio on South Palm Canyon. Check its current event calendar before planning a late-night visit.
• Melvyn's at Ingleside Estate offers a classic restaurant, lounge and patio setting.

Plan around weather and current service
