Historic Tennis Club
The Tennis Club neighborhood sits at the base of San Jacinto behind downtown, holding the city's oldest and most atmospheric small hotels.
Streets here climb slightly toward the mountain, which means dramatic rock backdrops and afternoon shade earlier than the rest of town. The historic hotels are walking distance to Palm Canyon Drive, and the trailhead for the Museum Trail is at the edge of the neighborhood.
