King's Highway is the restaurant inside the Ace Hotel & Swim Club — a converted 1960s Denny's that kept the wraparound windows and boomerang counter and turned them into an all-day diner with a desert-modern menu. Breakfast is the busiest service, and it doubles as the poolside dining room for one of the liveliest hotel scenes in Palm Springs. Expect eggs, chilaquiles, grain bowls and burgers, strong coffee, and a crowd that skews young and design-conscious. Open to the public, not just hotel guests.
