Tahquitz Canyon

Tahquitz Canyon has a 1.8-mile loop toward a seasonal 60-foot waterfall on Agua Caliente land, entered through the visitor center at 500 W Mesquite Avenue. The operator rates the rocky trail strenuous, with 350 feet of gain and steep, uneven steps. Expect very little shade and carry water. Pets are prohibited. Ranger-led interpretive hikes are included with paid admission; confirm current departures, weather and waterfall access.

Hours
Normally 7:30am–5pm; last trail entry 3:30pm. Daily October into early July, Friday–Sunday in summer. Check the live calendar for your exact date and closures.
Admission
$15 adults; $7 ages 6–12; ages 5 and under free. Qualifying military, first responders and members of federally recognized Native American tribes enter free with required ID. Check current ticket eligibility.

Accessibility
