Escena Golf Club
A Jack Nicklaus-designed course a few minutes from downtown Palm Springs and even closer to the airport, laid out on open ground with unobstructed views of Mount San Jacinto. It is walkable, forgiving off the tee, and among the most convenient rounds in the valley for anyone staying in the city. The mid-century-styled clubhouse and grill are open to non-golfers and popular for sunset drinks.
Hours: Daily dawn-dusk. Best for a round close to town.
