Desert Willow Golf Resort
Two city-owned desert-style courses in Palm Desert - Firecliff and Mountain View - widely considered the best public golf in the valley. Both are Hurdzan-Fry designs routed through natural desert washes with minimal turf, and both are fully bookable by visitors, with resident and twilight rates that make them good value. The clubhouse restaurant and the practice facility are both above average.
Hours: Daily dawn-dusk. Best for public golf in palm desert.
