Late-Night Food in Palm Springs: Where the Kitchen Is Still Open
Palm Springs eats early - here are the places that genuinely serve after 10pm, with the times they publish
Palm Springs Spots Editors · Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

Palm Springs shuts its kitchens early. Most of the restaurants people recommend stop serving at 9 or 10pm, which is a problem after a show or a night on Arenas Road. This guide lists only places whose own website supports late service, with the closing times they publish. Checked September 11, 2026.
| Venue | Published late service | Area | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reforma | Wed-Fri to 2am, Sat 9am-2am | Downtown | The most dependable late night |
| Blackbook | Bar to 1am; kitchen closes 1 hour earlier | Arenas District | Food during an Arenas night |
| Paul Bar / Food | Fri-Sat to midnight, kitchen to 11pm | East Palm Springs | A proper late dinner |
| Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage | ACE Deli to midnight, 2am Fri-Sat | Rancho Mirage | After-midnight food |
| Fantasy Springs Resort Casino | Late casino dining | Indio | The east-valley equivalent |
| Village Pub | Open late; kitchen cut-off not published | Downtown | Drinks late, food to confirm |
The reliable late options
Reforma - downtown until 2am
The big South Palm Canyon room publishes its hours: Wednesday to Friday 4pm-2am, Saturday 9am-2am, Sunday 4pm-10pm, closed Monday and Tuesday. It is the most dependable late-night venue in the Village and one of the very few that prints a schedule at all.
Blackbook - late food on Arenas Road
Blackbook's bar runs to 1am most nights (11pm Sunday) and its own site states the kitchen closes an hour before the bar. That makes it the practical stop for food during an Arenas Road night - which is exactly what the strip otherwise lacks.
Paul Bar / Food - the one that says so out loud
Paul Bar markets itself as "a place in Palm Springs that isn't closed at 8pm". Published hours: Wednesday and Thursday 4-11pm with the kitchen to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 4pm-midnight with the kitchen to 11pm, Sunday 4-10pm, closed Monday and Tuesday. It is on East Vista Chino rather than downtown, so plan a ride.
ACE Deli at Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage - the actual late-night answer
The casino deli in Rancho Mirage publishes 8am-midnight Sunday to Thursday and 8am-2am Friday and Saturday. If it is past midnight and you need food, this is the confirmed option in the valley. Fantasy Springs in Indio is the equivalent at the eastern end.
Village Pub - drinks late, food to check
The big downtown bar on South Palm Canyon runs late with DJs and dancing and serves food through the evening, but does not publish a kitchen cut-off. Ask when you arrive rather than counting on it at midnight.
What closes earlier than you think
- King's Highway at the Ace Hotel: dinner service ends at 9 or 10pm depending on the night, and the hotel's own pages differ - check on the day.
- Sherman's Deli: closes at 9pm daily, despite its diner reputation.
- Tac/Quila, Trio, Sandfish and most Uptown restaurants: last seating around 9 or 10pm.
- Bongo Johnny's and Rick's: daytime rooms, not late-night ones.
A few venues that appear on older late-night lists have closed or cannot be confirmed: Wang's in the Desert closed in 2024, and Wexler's and the current details for Rick's could not be verified, so we have left them out.
Practical notes
The Arenas Road bars will pour until 2am but only Blackbook reliably feeds you, so eat before or plan on it. Drive-through and chain options in the valley run later than the independents, and the nearest In-N-Out locations - Cabazon and Thousand Palms - close around 1 to 1.30am rather than staying open all night. Between July and September, assume everything closes earlier than posted and confirm by phone.

FAQ
- Where can I eat after midnight in Palm Springs?
- Inside the city, the options are thin: Reforma is open until 2am Wednesday to Saturday. For a confirmed after-midnight kitchen, ACE Deli at Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage publishes midnight closing Sunday to Thursday and 2am on Friday and Saturday.
- Is there any late-night food on Arenas Road?
- Blackbook is the one bar on the strip with a kitchen running late - its site states the kitchen closes an hour before the 1am bar close, or 11pm on Sundays.
- Is there a 24-hour restaurant in Palm Springs?
- No. The nearest In-N-Out locations, in Cabazon and Thousand Palms, close around 1 to 1.30am, and no Palm Springs restaurant publishes 24-hour service.
- How late does King's Highway at the Ace Hotel serve?
- Dinner ends at 9pm or 10pm depending on the night, and the hotel's own pages list slightly different hours - check on the day rather than assuming it is a late option.
- Why do Palm Springs restaurants close so early?
- It is a resort town with an early-dinner, early-pool rhythm, and many independent kitchens are small. Most stop serving between 9pm and 10pm, and several close entirely on Monday and Tuesday.
- Does late-night service change in summer?
- Yes. Between July and September many kitchens trim hours or close midweek, so treat published closing times as optimistic and phone ahead.
