Six selected stays in this guide, kept in sync with our hotel database.
A downtown hotel keeps the museum, restaurants and Palm Canyon Drive in the same part of your trip. These six stays offer different room styles and settings, so choose for your party and hotel time as well as the museum visit.

Choose the hotel experience first
The main museum is at 101 Museum Drive. All six selections are in central Palm Springs, but a nearby address does not guarantee a particular walking time. Check the actual route, crossings, weather and your mobility needs before deciding to leave the car at the hotel.
For a larger downtown hotel, compare Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs at 100 W Tahquitz Canyon Way with Hyatt Palm Springs at 285 N Palm Canyon Drive. Rowan has a rooftop pool; Hyatt is an all-suite property with separate sitting space. Neither is automatically the cheapest choice for your dates.
Historic grounds or an adults-only stay
Casa Cody, at 175 S Cahuilla Road, has landscaped grounds and two shared pools. Check the individual room layout and occupancy before booking.
Holiday House, at 200 W Arenas Road, is a 21-and-over boutique hotel with art-focused interiors and rooms without televisions. Del Marcos Hotel, at 225 W Baristo Road, is an adults-only option for a mid-century setting.
Farther north in Downtown, The Colony Palms Hotel, at 572 N Indian Canyon Drive, describes itself as adults only and has a pool, restaurant and spa. Confirm minimum ages and the exact room policy directly with any adults-only hotel before paying.
Compare the complete stay total
Open the rate link for your actual dates and party size. Compare the final amount with taxes, resort or package charges, parking and cancellation terms included. A low nightly headline does not settle which hotel costs less.
Hyatt's official site currently lists a $20 daily resort fee plus tax and $30 daily self-parking; confirm those charges for your booking. Holiday House describes an optional resort package, so check what is included if you opt in and what parking costs if you do not. Other hotel charges should be checked against the quote you receive.
Fit the museum into the stay
The museum visitor guide covers tickets and arrival. The main museum is open Thursday noon–8pm and Friday–Sunday 10am–5pm, with Monday–Wednesday closures. General admission also covers the separate Architecture and Design Center.
Thursday 5–8pm admission is free, with advance registration requested. You can pair it with VillageFest on Palm Canyon Drive if the fair operates on your date. Plan dinner and the route between the two separately.
For more neighborhood choices, use the Downtown hotel guide. For a short sightseeing visit, the one-day plan keeps lunch, art and the evening in a manageable central area.
