The stretch of North Palm Canyon above Alejo Road where Palm Springs' mid-century furniture dealers, vintage clothing stores, design shops and galleries cluster, interspersed with coffee and small restaurants. It is walkable end to end in twenty minutes and is the best single place in the valley to look for authentic period pieces, though prices reflect the address. Several shops close Tuesdays.
