Bombay Beach

Bombay Beach is an unincorporated Imperial County community on the east side of California's Salton Sea. Visitors come to see a changing landscape and art installations; this is a real inhabited community, not an admission-ticket attraction or an official open-air museum. Respect private property, posted access limits, residents, and changing shoreline and weather conditions. California State Parks advises that Bombay Beach Campground is closed; do not assume camping or boat access is available. There is no general town admission fee.
