The River

An open-air centre on Highway 111 built around an artificial waterway, with a cinema, chain and independent restaurants, shaded walkways and a fountain plaza that hosts occasional live music. It functions as the evening downtown for Rancho Mirage and the surrounding country clubs, and it works well for groups who cannot agree on dinner. Parking is free and covered in places.
