A working date farm on Highway 111 that has been selling date shakes since 1924 and still screens its deadpan mid-century film, The Romance and Sexual Life of the Date, in a small theatre off the shop floor. The café serves a full menu, the store sells every date variety grown in the valley, and a short garden walk with biblical statuary sits behind the building. The shake alone justifies the stop.
