Joshua Tree Saloon

The high desert's all-purpose bar: burgers and breakfast during the day, climbers and park staff at the bar by late afternoon, live music and famously loud karaoke at night. It sits on Highway 62 in the middle of town, five minutes from the park's west entrance, and it is the closest thing Joshua Tree has to a town square. Cash-friendly, dog-friendly patio, no pretension whatsoever.

Hours: Daily 11am-2am. Prices are low. Best for a post-hike beer.
